Still, you should try to manage and avoid triggers, or at least keep them to a minimum. For instance, lose excess weight, and review your medications with your doctor to see if you should use an alternative or a different dose.

hindi Keep 'Em Slugging

Former English cricketer Bob Willis has suggested that sledging of a 'personal nature' should be reported to the match referee, with particular reference to Australian sledging directed at English players during the 2017-18 Ashes.[42] Before England's Tour of New Zealand in 2018, former English cricketer Geoffrey Boycott called for English cricketers to 'drop' sledging.[43] England wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow has expressed a need for greater clarity with regard to what is deemed as 'personal', pointing out that there are so many grey areas around the 'line'.[44]

Former Indian captain Kapil Dev laid the foundation to turn India into a competitive sledging side, according to Viv Richards.[46] Saurav Ganguly is known to be among India's first 'aggressive' captains who employed sledging on the field.[47] Indian batsman Virender Sehwag has said, "If there's no sledging, there won't be any enjoyment left in the game."[48] Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir said it's fine to do 'whatever you can to upset the opposition till the time you don't get personal.'[49][50] Indian wicketkeeper MS Dhoni has described sledging as an 'art' and has said it is fair as long as a 'line' isn't crossed.[51] Indian pacer Sreesanth has said that sledging is 'part and parcel' of the game.[52] Indian bowler Irfan Pathan has said that sledging has a 'certain charm' about it also adding that it should be done 'within limits'.[53] Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar has called for sledging within 'certain limits' in his autobiography Playing It My Way.[54] Former Indian cricketer and commentator Sunil Gavaskar explains that sledging is done to 'disrupt a cricketer's concentration'.[55] Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has stated that sledging is fine but verbals must not extend to 'family'.[56]

Following the 2015 World Cup Final between New Zealand and Australia which saw Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin engage in 'repeated sledging',[72] the former publicly repudiated sledging.[73] New Zealand cricketer Grant Elliott, who was among those targeted by Australian cricketers during the 2015 World Cup Final, commented: "You should sort cricket issues out with bat or ball, not with your mouth."[74]

South African wicketkeeper-batsman Mark Boucher exclaimed that sledging 'will never completely leave the game.'[81] South African skipper Faf Du Plessis remarked that "If showing aggression is considered a breach of conduct, we could rather have bowling machines bowl to a batsman."[54]

The Sri Lankan Cricket Team has had a reputation of avoiding verbal aggression.[82] Former Sri Lankan captain Arjuna Ranatunga called for a ban on sledging in early 2008 with particular reference to Australia's interactions with touring sides.[83] Former Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara drew a clear distinction between aggression 'on the field' and verbal sledging, remarking that the two are different from each other.[82]

The West Indies Cricket Team was famous in having a fearsome pace bowling attack during the 1980s, but rarely indulged in verbal intimidation of the opposition unless provoked.[84] West Indies great Viv Richards said that his reaction to sledging was 'confrontational'.[85] According to Richards, sledging is an 'inevitable part' of modern-day cricket. He further expounds that 'racial' slurring translates to crossing the line, comparing it to 'being hit in the nuts' and asserting that it is entirely unacceptable.[86] Former West Indies wicketkeeper Deryck Murray has said that there is no room for sledging based around someone's 'race' or 'family background', adding that sledging directed towards West Indies players, particularly by Australians, during his career was sometimes 'beyond acceptable'.[87] West Indies legend Curtly Ambrose has simply said: "I despise players who sledge. Sledging is very childish and beneath contempt."[88]

If you're experiencing heating troubles related to oil sludge clogs, your top priority is making sure this never happens again. Luckily, once you take care of your sludge, you have many options to keep your tank clean. You may even be able to put off your next cleaning for an extra year or two. Here are some strategies to try:

A fantastic way to prevent your oil from getting too low is with the Heating Oil Automatic Delivery Service from Smart Touch Energy. When you sign up, we'll keep a record of your home's heating needs, allowing us to calculate when you're due for a fill-up with impressive accuracy. You'll save an extra $0.03 on every gallon, and you won't have to schlep outside to your oil tank in the dead of winter to check your fuel levels.

While you only need to clean your oil tank once every three to five years, it needs other annual maintenance to keep it in top condition. Work with your oil supplier to schedule yearly service. Your technician will change the oil filter and perform other work to prevent sludge and related clogs. They can also catch sludge deposits before the condition worsens.

It might seem counterintuitive to keep oil in your tank all summer. After all, when oil sits unused, it's more likely to develop into sludge. However, when the tank is full, less air and water vapor enter the container. We recommend keeping a half-full tank outside of the heating season, and if it's more than halfway full, that's even better. The humidity and shifting temperatures in the spring and summer are more likely to create condensation, so the less room it has to form, the better.

Use a small amount of baby oil on your freshly washed hair to help keep hair smoother. The baby oil closes each hair cuticle. This helps to prevent heat damage from blow-drying or other styling tools.

Moisturizers help lock in hydration and keep the skin from drying out. The skin has a protective lipid barrier consisting of natural oils. This barrier is there not only to help keep water in your skin but to keep environmental toxins out. When the skin gets dried out, this protective barrier starts to break down and becomes unable to do its job, which creates dry, irritated skin with more pronounced wrinkles.

Emollients are moisturizing ingredients that soften the skin, help keep it supple, and decrease inflammation, so the skin feels more comfortable or less itchy. Emollients include butters, oils, esters, lipids, and fatty acids, all of which have some occlusive properties but are known to help rebuild skin barrier function and prevent dry skin.

The most common occlusive is Petroleum Jelly (the main ingredient in Vaseline). Occlusive products have seen a revival as they help combat dry, flaky, or irritated skin. The K-Beauty viral trend "nighttime slugging" or "slug life" is taking on new heights as more and more people are experiencing sensitized or irritated skin as a result of overuse of highly active, treatment focused skincare such as Retinols, AHA's, BHA's, and other exfoliating ingredients. New York based Dermatologist Dr. Angelo Landriscina explains in an interview with Byrdie that "slugging prevents most transepidermal water loss which allows the skin to rebuild its moisture barrier, in turn improving the overall skin condition once the product is removed."

Petroleum Jelly is non-comedogenic, but that does not mean that it is right for every skin type. If you have oily or acne-prone skin, you will want to steer clear of the slugging trend and stick with humectants and/or emollients.

"But love doesn't make sense. You can't logic your way into or out of it. Love is totally nonsensical. But we have to keep doing it or else we're lost and love is dead and humanity should just pack it in. Because love is the best thing we do." -Ted, How I Met Your Mother

"There are dreamers and there are realists in this world. You'd think the dreamers would find the dreamers and the realists would find the realists, but more often than not the opposite is true. You see, the dreamers need the realists to keep them from soaring too close to the sun. And the realists, well, without dreamers, they might not ever get off the ground." -Cameron, Modern Family

The harsh cold climate and dry indoor air during winter can leave skin in less-than-ideal shape. Use these tips for winter skin care so you can keep your skin healthy moisturized and looking good all season long.

Amid the many changes that have come with the coronavirus pandemic, hair-oiling can be a soothing act that helps keep you present. "It really is the perfect self-love and self-care practice to nurture yourself through all the uncertainty we are facing right now," says Ajmera. "It also takes time to get used to adding new practices to your routine, so starting to incorporate this practice when you can during quarantine will help you make a new habit out of it that you can return to even when we re-emerge into the world." And if you want to take it a step further, Viswanathan recommends hair-oiling in tandem with a full-body abhyanga, or self-massage, which helps reduce inflammation, promote lymphatic drainage, and hydrate the skin to leave you feeling more grounded and centered all over. Taking time out of the day for such deeply personal practices may feel like a foreign undertaking, but take encouragement from the fact this isn't exactly unchartered territory. As Akash points out, "Hair-oiling is new to many, but its benefits have been proven from centuries of ancient tradition."

1. When a fixed gap is installed, the amount of powder drawn in into the compaction area between the rolls is inconsistent, which results in different forces applied to the powder bed. Like in slugging, this will cause large fluctuations in the ribbon and granulate properties.
